GRAHAM announces new £10m Headquarters plan

Oct 2007

GRAHAM has announced plans to relocate its company offices to a new £10 million state of the art headquarters facility two miles outside Dromore, on the Ballygowan Road off the A1 dual carriageway.

Speaking about the new £10 million headquarters facility, Executive Chairman, Michael Graham said,

“We hope to secure planning permission by January 2008 to allow construction to commence. The site will accommodate a range of storage, vehicular, distribution and ancillary office buildings.

“We hope to achieve the “Excellent” BREEAM rating for the office building. This is the highest award level for Sustainable buildings. It is intended to become a ‘Flagship’ building demonstrating to Clients that we ‘practice what we preach’. It involves details such as orientating the building to minimise heat gain from the sun to allow the use of natural ventilation, therefore cutting down on energy costs. Sustainable building materials, collecting rainwater and use of appropriate landscaping will all be used to make the building sustainable and energy efficient.”
