Graham Achieve Platinum Ranking

Nov 2008

The results of the ARENA Network’s 10th Northern Ireland Environmental Benchmarking Survey have been announced at the Harbour Commissioners’ Buildings in Belfast. Graham finished third overall and received Platinum ranking recognition. This is a new category in 2008 for those companies scoring over 90%.
With an increased score from 86.6% last year to 93.6% this year, Graham is the highest ranked construction company in the survey. This is particularly commendable given the enhanced robustness of this year’s survey which included increased follow up checks, a renewed focus on companies’ suppliers and new questions on legal compliance and climate change. The Construction sector average score is 61%.
John Heaslip, Chief Executive of Business in the Community, congratulated Graham on an excellent performance and said “It is clear that Graham is actively leading the way on environmental management and performance in Northern Ireland, achieving one of only seven organisations in Northern Ireland attaining Platinum level”.
