GRAHAM are proud sponsors of the Mayor’s Charity Golf Day at Ballyclare Golf Club in conjunction with Newtownabbey Borough Council.
In the Councils’s fiftieth Anniversary year, GRAHAM’s involvement comes from being main contractor on the £13m extension to the council offices and new Civic Centre.
Mayor of Newtownabbey, Alderman Nigel Hamilton, is hosting the charity golf day at on Friday 16 May. Building on the success of last year, the event will raise funds for the Mayor’s three charities, the NI Children’s Hospice, The Haemophilia Society and Thornfield House School.
The Council are also delighted to have Graham as sponsor of the event. Bert McCullough, Project Director with Graham commented:
“As a company who is involved in the Considerate Constructors scheme, we always endeavour to bring more to the local community than just the bricks and mortar of the finished project This event has given us an ideal opportunity to work closely with the people who will work in, visit and ultimately benefit from a tremendous facility such as the Council offices and the Civic Arts and Cultural Centre.”
