Turnkey Design and Construct contract for a 29,000 P.E. WwTW on an existing works.

The project included replacement inlet pumping station, Lamella Primary Settlement, FBDA Activated Sludge Plant, 6 lane Zenon Membrane Bioreactor and associated steel frame building, storm tank/return pumping, DAB thickener and sludge storage, standby generator, odour control.

The existing discharge quality was maintained throughout the works.

Also included were two satellite sites at Ballynure and Straid which were provided with new pumping stations, storm water holding tanks and emergency screened overflows. 6km of associated pumping mains were laid back to the main works.
