Culloden Hotel & Spa Complex, Co-Down

This iconic ‘gate lodge’ Inn, part of the prestigious Culloden Hotel & Spa complex prestigious in Co Down benefited from a substantial refurbishment by the Graham Construction ‘Hastings’ Team.

The kitchen layouts were redesigned to produce a more rational flow of processes and to draw the Chefs into a much more rewarding and stimulating relationship with their waiting staff and customers.

The work involved increasing the cooking and preparation areas in size and re-positioned them to coincide with a large structural opening, which allows public views into this busy area.

A second large structural opening was formed and a dedicated beverage and patisserie area created within the kitchen.

Meanwhile, the rest of the kitchen & wash up areas area were thoroughly re-furbished with new ventilation and specialist catering equipment installed.

Services were concealed and a new smooth plaster ceiling and recessed lighting installed installed to create a hygienic working environment. Walls were finished with a mixture of stainless steel, hygienic wall cladding and traditional wall tiles.
