Limavady By-Pass

The project involved the design and construction of a 3.6km single carriageway bypass across the River Roe flood plain, 1.4km of single carriageway side roads and three bridges (40m, 32m and 25m spans).
The project was one of the first NEC Option C contracts let in Northern Ireland.
The crossing of the flood plain involved innovative design solutions for embankments, including construction of polystgrene embankments.
