Stepps, North Lanarkshire to Haggs, Falkirk

This project, which is one of the largest road contracts ever let in Scotland, involves the construction of 18km of dual two/three lane motorway with associated slip roads and infrastructure from Stepps in North Lanarkshire to Haggs in Falkirk.

8km of the scheme is an online upgrade, with the remaining 10km being constructed offline.  There are 63 structures (either new build or modifications to existing) on the project and 7 interchanges / junctions including one interchange of the M73 with the M80.

The online section requires extensive traffic management, which is being undertaken by GRAHAM HMM.
