N52 Tullamore Bypass

Design and construction of 15km of 7.5m and 10m wide single carriageway bypassing the rural town of Tullamore and incorporating a total of 13 at-grade junctions.

The project involves the construction of 6No. bridges including crossings of the Grand Canal, Clodiagh and Silver Rivers and the Dublin - Athlone Railway line. Bridge substructures are typically insitu concrete with H pile foundations, and precast beams superstructure.

The project includes construction of a temporary 30m span Bailey Bridge crossing Grand Canal.
