Royal Victoria Hospital Mortuary

This design and build contract is an extension to the existing Mortuary Facility.

It provides a 4 table post mortem suite, a specialist forensic suite, cold stor-age for 52 bodies, PSNI interview suite, specialist cut-up analysis suite and teaching facilities.

The engineering works required dedicated down-draft ventilation to the post mortem tables and benches.

The post mortem suites have altro ceil-ings and walls with insitu terrazzo floors and the remainder of the building is complimented with sympathetic decoration and landscape design.
