Design and construction of new WwTW on the site of the existing works, offline with existing plant. The new Works was designed to treat the flow for a design PE of 8,500 in 2030. The scope of works included:

Storm water storage tanks, FBDA aeration tanks, blower building containing blowers and potable water booster, final settlement tanks, sludge thickening and storage facilities, refurbishment of the existing PST, refurbishment of existing primary settlement tank, new MCC building, odour control equipment, new perimeter fence and landscaping, additional new inlet works screen.
The works is located adjacent ot the Coastal path and significant public and stakeholder liaison was required to ensure the works were delivered successfully.
