GRAHAM Begins Construction On Erskine House Development
GRAHAM has started work on the £17million Erskine House development in Belfast city centre.
Orby Investment Ltd, the developers of the scheme, awarded GRAHAM the contract to construct the eight storey building which will comprise ground floor retail units and approximately 100,000sq ft of high end office accommodation.
Erskine House will become a hive of activity from late 2019, with HM Revenue & Customs set to occupy the seven floors of office space for a period of at least 25 years. The offices will accommodate around 1,600 employees.
Hillsborough-headquartered GRAHAM Construction, which was recently named Major Contractor of the Year at the annual UK Building Awards in London, is Northern Ireland's largest construction company. It delivers building, civil engineering and fit out projects for both public and private sector clients across the UK and Ireland.
Commenting on the Erskine House contract, Jonathan Hall, Regional Managing Director, GRAHAM Construction, says:
“Winning this contract is a major endorsement of GRAHAM as one of the UK’s leading construction companies. Erskine House is an iconic Belfast project and we are delighted to be playing a part in reinvigorating this city centre space.”
