GRAHAM Engineering Director appointed to prestigious ICE role
GRAHAM Construction Engineering Director, Philip Brown, has been named as the next Chairman of The Institution of Civil Engineers Northern Ireland (ICE NI).
Philip, who has been employed by GRAHAM for almost 25 years, will be officially appointed at a special installation on Monday 11th September 2017.
The prestigious role as Chairman of ICE NI - an organisation that supports and represents around 2,000 civil engineers in the region – comes after holding the position of Vice-Chairman for the past three years. Philip will succeed outgoing Chairman Stephen Heaney from WDR & RT Taggart.
The installation will take place at the ICE NI Annual General Meeting at Belfast’s striking Ulster Museum, after which Philip will give his Chairman’s Address. This will be followed by a Chairman’s Supper to mark the momentous occasion.
Philip commented: “It’s a great privilege to be appointed as Chairman and I look forward to continuing my role in supporting ICE NI.”
