Liverpool is on the rise.
Since it was crowned the European City of Culture in 2008, the city has enjoyed a sustained period of transformational change. Embracing its central role within the Northern Powerhouse, Liverpool’s urban resurgence over the last decade has cemented its place as one of the UK economy’s most important hubs. Referenced in the ‘Liverpool Local Plan 2013 -2033’, Liverpool City Council estimates that there are currently “£14bn worth of regeneration projects on site or in the pipeline” while in 2018 “£1bn worth of schemes will be completed for a record fourth consecutive year”.
The statistics are striking and best illustrate why Liverpool has topped the list of Britain’s fastest growing city centres.
At GRAHAM, we’re playing our part in shaping this infrastructural evolution.
