Emer Murnaghan

Emer Murnaghan

Innovation Director

A civil engineer by profession, Emer has developed the G-evolution business improvement program at GRAHAM, been instrumental in developing responsible sustainable business practices and is an original founder of the GRAHAM Academy programme.  As Innovation Director, she has developed the ‘Tiger Team’ approach to challenges within the industry by selecting experts from across the GRAHAM business and supply chain to work collaboratively towards best practice outcomes.

She currently holds the role of Chair of ICE NI and Vice Chair of Engineering Council. Emer’s work within GRAHAM and in the broader engineering community highlights her absolute commitment to innovation, sustainability and inclusivity.

Peter Reavey

Peter Reavey

Regional Director – Building

A qualified civil engineer, Peter joined GRAHAM in 2006, where he has progressed from Contracts Manager to his current role of Regional Director in Building.

Peter’s work spans numerous sectors, notably Healthcare, Residential, and Education. From managing multimillion-pound projects to overseeing strategic initiatives exceeding £100m, Peter thrives on the challenges that these complex projects can offer.

Lorraine Harrison

Lorraine Harrison

Director of IT Services

Lorraine, an IT professional with extensive global experience, joined GRAHAM in 2016. Her passion for driving business and IT collaboration to deliver operational efficiencies has been instrumental in enhancing our IT function. 

Under Lorraine’s leadership, GRAHAM has obtained significant certifications in areas such as building information modelling, information security, and cybersecurity, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

In recognition of our business-focused digital maturity initiative, GRAHAM IT received the 2023 Digital Contractor of the Year award.

Michael Graham

Michael Graham

Chairman

Michael Graham is the Chairman of GRAHAM and has been instrumental in establishing the company as a market leader in the construction, facilities management and project investment industries throughout the UK and Ireland.

Michael joined GRAHAM in 1989 and fulfilled a number of positions until 1993 when he was appointed as a main Board Director with executive responsibilities for the successful delivery of all Building projects.

In 1997 Michael took on the position of Managing Director of GRAHAM, a position he held until the creation of John Graham Holdings in 2007 when he assumed the position of Chairman.

Michael is a Fellow of both the Chartered Institute of Building and the Institution of Civil Engineers.

Andrew Bill

Andrew Bill

Group Chief Executive Officer

Andrew joined GRAHAM in 1989 as a Graduate Civil Engineer and held various roles in the Construction Division.

In 1997 he assumed responsibility for the Group’s Facilities Management and Investment divisions and was appointed to the Group Board in 2007.

In 2021, Andrew was appointed as Group Chief Executive.

He is a Chartered Engineer and has 36 years of experience in the construction sector.

Courtney McCormick

Group Chief Financial Officer

Courtney joined GRAHAM in 2008 as Finance Director of the Investments division, following his tenure in Corporate Finance at Deloitte. In 2014, he was appointed to the Group Board and currently serves on the divisional boards of Construction, Facilities Management, and Investments.

As Chief Financial Officer and a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Ireland, Courtney oversees the finance and IT functions of the GRAHAM Group. He plays a pivotal role in the strategic planning and development of the business as part of the executive team. Courtney’s responsibilities include driving digital transformation, integrating AI and automation into financial processes, and enhancing ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) reporting. 

John McDonald

John McDonald

Managing Director

GRAHAM Investment Projects

John joined GRAHAM in 2012 as Development Director of the Investment division.

He has harnessed his commercial development background in the delivery of multiple projects ranging from £10m to £500m.

Passionate about driving innovation in the property and construction industry, he assumed the role of Managing Director, for Investment projects in 2020. In addition, he contributes to the strategic planning and development of the Group and has a strong interest in the environment, social value delivery and communications.

Gary Holmes

Regional Managing Director

Building North

Gary successfully leads GRAHAM’s Building North division in his role as Regional Managing Director. He brings more than three decades of construction industry knowledge and experience to the company with an impressive career that has taken him from a time-served joiner to Regional Managing Director.

Providing strong leadership for his team, Gary brings strategic direction, people and project management, and extensive expertise to this thriving division. He is a hands-on construction professional and a regular presence on sites.

Jonathan Hall

Managing Director

Building South & Interior Fit Out

Jonathan joined GRAHAM in 2001 as a Graduate Quantity Surveyor.  Following the management of Commercial, Procurement and Estimating departments, he moved into management of the GRAHAM business in England South and the Midlands.  A resounding success, this developed into a wider Managing Director role within England and parts of Northern Ireland.  In more recent years, he has also overseen the GRAHAM Interior Fit Out business.

Jonathan acknowledges that the most important part of any structure or business plan are the people who are part of it.  Jonathan is enthusiastic about the future of GRAHAM and looks forward to seeing opportunities develop for our staff as our business moves forward in the coming years.     

Leo Martin

Leo Martin

Managing Director

Civil Engineering

Leo is the Managing Director of GRAHAM’s Civil Engineering Division and provides strong strategic leadership and operational support to his sector leads. He has long established relationships with clients, stakeholders and joint venture partners and has successfully developed the GRAHAM civil engineering business through sustainable, organic growth throughout the UK & Ireland.

A Chartered Civil Engineer, he is a Fellow of the ICE and a member of both CIHT and IEI. He has led on our civil engineering graduate training as well as a health and wellbeing programme and is actively involved in the personal development of his staff at all levels.
