We’re delighted to announce the award of another contract with Northern Ireland Water, to provide Facilities Management, Maintenance Services and Minor Project Works. This award comes off the back of our recent success in resecuring the NIW MEICA (First Response Contract).

Covering the extensive North-West region, as indicated below, the contract will operate for up to seven years to 2031.

This contract will principally deal with reactive repairs, planned maintenance, project works and support the development of NI Water’s future facilities management strategy.

Works will include:

  • Building inspection, repair, and maintenance services.
  • Minor civil engineering works.
  • Fencing and gate replacement and repairs.
  • Winter maintenance.
  • Compliance services.
  • Installation and planned preventative maintenance of facilities electrical, mechanical, or electromechanical assets and systems.
  • Installation and planned preventative maintenance, including inspection, repair and maintenance of fire alarm, access control, intruder alarm, intercom, and CCTV systems.

Securing this agreement enhances GRAHAM Facilities Managements’ existing and long-standing relationship with Northern Ireland Water, and supported by our existing contracts with both Yorkshire Water and Severn Trent Water, it demonstrates our expertise and growth within the Utilities Sector.

Gareth Smyth, GRAHAM Facilities Management Director, commented:

“GRAHAM has a long and successful track record working with Northern Ireland Water and we look forward to continuing to build on this success with this new contract, and continue to grow our presence within the Water and Wastewater sector throughout the UK and Ireland.”
