Building 6 central core

For the first time Building 6’s core at Buchanan Wharf was fully unveiled… but not for long! The rig has been removed, giving a view of the six storeys in all their glory. Steelwork has commenced which will envelop the core.

Building 6 will be a 75,000 sq. ft. office spread over six floors. The building is one of the last pieces of the puzzle in the award-winning Buchanan Wharf development by Drum Property Group. GRAHAM has strong roots in this new Glasgow neighbourhood, either completing or currently developing 4 buildings and various public realm areas.

Funded by Legal & General, upon completion Building 6 will house the Student Loans Company.

Construction of the development commenced in December 2021 and has so far seen the foundations completed, along with a commanding central core. To date the structure has taken over 3,000 cubic meters of concrete and 475 tonnes of structural rebar. The concrete core was constructed using an Ischebeck Titan Jumpform System through our supply chain partner Deans Civil Engineering. The steel frame works are now underway on site and will see the core gradually enveloped.

We look forward to seeing this building continuing to take shape alongside the rest of the development, with completion scheduled for Summer 2023.
