GRAHAM has broken ground at Imperial College London’s White City Campus, which marks a key milestone as construction begins on the new School of Public Health building.

Imperial College London selected GRAHAM as preferred construction partner to build the School of Public Health building at its White City Campus in West London earlier this year.

Designed by Allies and Morrison, the new multidisciplinary building will provide collaborative, flexible, and interactive spaces for academics, collaborators, students, and the local community. Set in Imperial’s thriving entrepreneurial ecosystem at White City, the building will house state-of-the-art facilities and to support modern advances in genomics, data sciences, community engagement, incubators, and educational facilities.

Once completed, the nine-storey School of Public Health building will provide nearly 58,000 sq ft of space, fitted out by GRAHAM.

Speaking at the event, Imperial’s President Professor Alice Gast said:

"Our premier School of Public Health is an integral part of one of the most collaborative, multidisciplinary, innovative universities in the world. It's new home in the White City campus will amplify our collaborations, innovation and our teaching and research across disciplines.”

Ivor Brown, Senior Project Manager, added:

“This is a landmark moment for our project team as we start work on the School of Public Health’s new home in the White City campus. We’re delighted to get started.”
