The interior fit-out division welcomed a group of 30 students to its Erskine House development recently (Wednesday 9th October) as part of an informative open day into interior fit-out.

We initially completed the design and construction of the new eight storey, mixed purpose building in June 2019, before handing over the reins to our fit-out team who are in the process of undertaking a CAT A standard office fit-out, and the full landlord fit-out of the core and ancillary areas.

Works to the property, located on the boundary of Arthur Street and Chichester Street in Belfast city centre, are expected to be finalised at the end of the year.

The students from Ulster University and Belfast Metropolitan College, who were welcomed by Michael Graham, GRAHAM Group Executive Chairman, and Mark Gibson, Managing Director – GRAHAM Interior Fit-Out, enjoyed a unique insight into the multi-million-pound project, which included a guided tour of the site.

Members of our digital construction team were also on hand to demonstrate how digital technology has informed and shaped the scheme from design, through to construction and fit-out.

Recent GRAHAM Academy students then passed on stories of their own personal journeys in the construction industry, and how we have supported them throughout their careers.
