We were delighted to support the Harold Hill Christmas Light Switch-on event, that took place on Sunday 26th November.

The team provided funding for presents, to ensure that each child visiting Santa’s grotto during the event received a free gift.

Located in Essex, Harold Hill had been the only area in the borough that did not have a Christmas light switch-on event and that all changed when a group of volunteers got together.

The dedicated volunteers wanted to bring Christmas cheer to the town and started to organise an event that would be fun for all the family and has grown to now include, a Christmas market, fairground rides, local entertainment and of course the opportunity to visit Santa’s grotto.

Jan Sergent, Harold Hill Christmas Light Switch on, Committee Member said,

“On behalf of the Harold Hill Christmas Light Switch on Committee, we would like to say a massive thank you to GRAHAM Group for your kind and generous donation.
We are very grateful that you chose to donate to this very worthy cause.
Your generosity has enabled us to provide every child an opportunity to visit Santa’s Grotto and receive a special Christmas gift, all free of charge!
Our main aim is to provide a free magical Harold Hill Christmas Event for all the community to enjoy.
This is something we kick started a few years ago when it became apparent that Harold Hill was the only area in the borough that did not have a Christmas Light Switch On.
We are now very proud to say that with kind donations such as yours, once again we are able to bring a little Christmas Sparkle to our unique, fantastic community with Santa pressies for the children, lots of Christmassy stalls and a fun filled day of entertainment.”

Hugh McNally, GRAHAM Project Manager commented,

“The M25 junction 28 teams are delighted to have contributed to this event, ensuring that every child attending the Christmas light switch-on receives a gift. Our commitment to supporting local communities is steadfast, and we are pleased to have been part of this meaningful cause.”
