GRAHAM continues to grow its facilities management business in the west of England after securing a Hard FM contract with the Office for Students (OfS).
OfS, formerly the Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE), is an independent public body that came into force on January 1st 2018 with the aim of championing ‘the interests of students’ and ensuring they ‘receive value for money’.
As part of an initial three-year contract, with a potential two-year extension, we will deliver planned and reactive maintenance services to three of OfS’s key Bristol properties – Nicholson House, Westward House and Dominions House.
The successful contract award not only strengthens our reputation in the education sector but adds to its significant presence in the west of England region where the national contractor has been a trusted partner of the University of the West of England (UWE) since April 2016.
Servicing UWE’s vast 88-hectare estate, consisting of three main campuses comprised of 167 buildings, GRAHAM provides a Hard FM solution inclusive of planned/preventative and reactive maintenance and minor works services.
Commenting on the new partnership with OfS, GRAHAM’s Operations Director, Gareth Smyth, said:
