About the Framework
GRAHAM has been appointed to the Link Housing Framework for New Building Housing on the following lots:
Lot 3 – Medium/ High value contracts. Construction services works with an estimated value of between £5,000,001 and £10,000,000
Lot 4 – High value contracts. Construction services works with an estimated value of between £10,000,001 and £30,000,000.
Lot 5 – Very High. Construction services works with an estimated value above £30,000,000
The geographical area for these lots above covers Scotland, apart from Argyll & Bute and Highlands & Islands, though generally the projects will be in central Scotland. The Framework Agreement will mainly cover new build housing however there may be a proportion of rehabilitation works to existing properties, extensions, office and commercial property and adaptions. The Framework may also include a limited number of planned maintenance projects. The projects will range in size, tenure and type from mainstream housing to a variety of needs projects. The tenure type will cover all affordable tenures, private rented and market sale.
Link’s expectations for the projects delivered under the Framework include:
- Creative, flexible, responsive, and where possible innovative responses to individual development projects, including the use of Modern Methods of Construction.
- Successful mixed tenure developments which are inspirational, high-quality designs that integrate into existing communities.
- To create award winning architecture and public realm.
- To create an exemplar Design Legacy.
- To incorporate the best of the Placemaking agenda.
- Sustainable design including meeting Link’s Net Zero Carbon ambitions to ensure that all newly built homes have zero emission heating from 2024 and achieve Net Zero Carbon by 2026. · Maximise added benefit delivered from the Framework, including community benefit and community enhancement.
