About the Frameworks

National Highways Franeworks

National Highways operate, manage and improve England’s motorways and major A roads, known as the strategic road network (SRN), to make journeys safer, smoother and more reliable. National Highways plan and manage a programme of works to make sure the roads and the various structures along them are safe. We are currently appointed as the contractor on the ‘Regional Delivery Partnership’ Band A and Scheme Delivery Framework (SDF) frameworks.

‘Regional Delivery Partnership’ Band A

We were selected to Highways England’s ‘Regional Delivery Partnership’ Lot 2 – South East and East of England region – a major highways improvement framework designed to enhance safety and reduce traffic delays across the network.

Initially, our focus is on the delivery of three design and build projects that will improve Junctions 25 and 28 of the M25 and Junction 5 of the M2.

Projects under this Framework:

  • M2 J5
  • M25 J25
  • M25 J28

Scheme Delivery Framework (SDF)

The National Highways Scheme Delivery Framework (SDF) was established to enable the delivery of renewals across a range of activities, including substantial civils work on barriers and drainage, traffic management activities and design services for a range of projects. Up to £3.6 billion worth of renewals to keep England’s motorways and major A roads running safely and smoothly was awarded as part of the government-owned company’s brand new six-year SDF.

Works for the schemes were divided into a number of workstreams that align with each contractor’s specialism, with GRAHAM being awarded Scheme Delivery Framework Lot 1.2 East – General Civil Engineering.
