We are excited to bring forward proposals for purpose built student accommodation at Hydepark Street, Glasgow. Pre-application discussions are progressing with Glasgow City Council, and in tandem a body of research including reports on ground conditions, drainage, transport, planning policy, ecology, design, and access is being prepared on behalf of GRAHAM Investment Projects.
Before submitting an application, we are undertaking this first public consultation event in order to seek the community’s views on the proposals, and to share the initial analysis and research which helps inform the design approach. The team recognise the importance of providing local businesses, community interest groups, and those who live in, work in, or otherwise make use of the local area, an opportunity to learn about the emerging proposals and to make their views known.
A series of consultation events are being held by the applicant GRAHAM Investment Projects (GIP) who are a development company which is part of the GRAHAM Group.
Two in-person consultation events will be carried out. This initial first consultation event outlines the principles of the proposed development and seeks input from local residents and key stakeholders. In the coming weeks we will hold a second public consultation event which will be publicised to the community.
