We were thrilled to welcome the Autism Reality Experience bus to our A164 & Jock’s Lodge Improvement Scheme.
The Autism Reality Experience is an innovative, immersive and hands on training initiative which has been developed to give non-autistic people an experience of the sensory processing difficulties faced by people on the autism spectrum.
Co-created by Glenn Knight, Managing Director of Training Care, alongside individuals on the autism spectrum, the Autism Reality Experience offers an authentic portrayal of autism, revolutionising how we perceive and understand it.
Over 40 members of the team took part in the experience, a great way for fostering greater empathy and understanding towards all individuals living with autism, including those working in the construction industry.
