About BS99001
Building on ISO9001, this standard provides specific guidance for the construction industry. Developed in response to Dame Judith Hackitt’s report, The Golden Thread, and the Building Safety Act, BS99001 sets higher expectations for quality across pre-construction, construction, post-construction, and central services.
Quality management is essential for safer, better outcomes in the built environment, benefitting clients, contractors, supply chain partners and end-users.
