Strategic technology upgrades and digital integration continuously improves efficiencies and project quality across our sites supported by a comprehensive digital upskilling program which has trained over 500 individuals, bolstering our digital competencies.
Looking ahead, we aim to further integrate AI and supply chain technologies to support improved project delivery.
Digital Construction Project of the Year
The Clyde Waterfront regeneration scheme involved constructing a 184-metre opening road bridge over the River Clyde at Renfrew.
We implemented biometric software for real-time site monitoring of this complex project, improving labour data tracking and saving time.
A sophisticated Building Information Modelling (BIM) ensured a coordinated digital design, federating 40 separate models and automating information delivery.
Drones were used for environmental and logistical surveys, enhancing accuracy and safety and the digital model facilitated 4D simulations and animations for stakeholder engagement, with 84 stakeholders trained on its applications.
