Project Summary
Located on Bonnington Road, Edinburgh, GRAHAM delivered 464 homes on behalf of PLATFORM_ and Heimstaden, 25% (116) of which are much-needed affordable units.
The development also contains four new commercial units, and a new access road connecting Anderson Place and Bonnington Road Lane. The rental development will enhance the vibrant Bonnington area in Edinburgh with tech-enabled, well-priced housing that is in strong demand across the city.
Project Detail
At 6 storeys high, the development fits in well with the surrounding architecture and is spread across three residential blocks totalling 325,000 sq.ft.
The residents’ experience has been prioritised at the build-to-rent (BTR) development and includes a fully equipped gym with yoga room and spin studio, cinema room, private dining room and open plan co-working space.
The rooftop terraces overlooking the Water of Leith have been thoughtfully designed to provide residents with sociable outdoor space. There is also an ecological woodland area and pocket park, where residents will be able to relax surrounded by nature.
Sustainability has been a key focus of the project which includes:
• Electric vehicle charging points
• Mechanical ventilation heat recovery (MVHR) units
• Roof mounted solar panels for on-site power generation
