Project detail
GRAHAM delivered a high-spec, two-storey transformation of Nike’s flagship Buchanan Street store in Glasgow, blending heritage architecture with cutting-edge retail design. Acting as Principal Contractor, we managed a complex seven-month programme that included a feature staircase, digital installations, and specialist ceiling systems.
Working from an evolving Stage 3 design, we led collaborative workshops with Nike’s design team and key suppliers to coordinate MEP services, bespoke joinery, and digital integrations. A point cloud survey and 3D modelling enabled precise planning, particularly around the staircase and tight ceiling voids.
Challenges such as service coordination, lighting logistics, and data cabling were resolved through early engagement and technical workshops. The result is a dynamic, digitally enabled retail space that reflects Nike’s global brand while celebrating Glasgow’s local creative culture.
