Project Summary
GRAHAM successfully completed the design and build of Seagahan Clear Water Tank and Valve Chamber with the aim of providing a reliable and sustainable water supply for the local community. Works
involved in this project included earthworks, service diversions and concrete works, all of which utilised innovative solutions to enhance safety and efficiency.
Project Detail
Following site investigations and leveraging clear water tank construction experience, we developed a robust design considering site conditions, hydraulics, levels, and the existing treatment process. Works included earthworks, service diversions, and concrete, utilizing innovative solutions for safety and efficiency. Excavated materials were repurposed for access roads and storage, minimizing environmental impact within NIW lands.
A significant milestone was pouring the 7.0 ML two-cell tank base slab, followed by walls, columns, and site-casted roof slabs and beams, enhancing safety and streamlining roof construction. The new valve chamber and wet well, integrated into the CWT structure, included a new pump station, MCC panel, and controls. Landscaping and hard standing followed, returning the site with more usable operational space.
