Student Accommodation, 225 Bath Street

About the project

The Student Accommodation complex, located at 225 Bath Street in Glasgow city centre, will replace a vacant 1970’s office block which was demolished. Delivered by contractor GRAHAM and designed by Glasgow-based architects Cooper Cromar, the development will create 551 bedrooms across 12 storeys.

Due for competition in 2025, students will benefit from luxury communal amenities including a gym, a gaming arcade, dining spaces and social areas set across 16,390 sq. ft. The new complex sits adjacent to an existing student accommodation block – Elgin Place – which includes 323 beds, also delivered by GRAHAM.

The new design will complement the wider streetscape with a glazed frontage and the Student Accommodation development will offer a variety of tenures, allowing students to choose the block they live in.

Project Information

Student Accommodation 225 Bath Street is a Purpose Built Student Accommodation development offering 551 beds plus amenities.

In May 2023 we commenced with enabling works for the building and confirm the construction is progressing at pace and on schedule.

It is anticipated that the development will complete in mid 2025.

What We Will Do

Monitor noise, vibration and dust to ensure they are kept within the permitted levels
Ensure the traffic management system is in place and maintain a safe working environment at all times
Deal with any enquiries or complaints in a professional and efficient manner and work with our neighbours to reduce the impact our work has on the community
