As part of the DfE’s £18.6m decarbonisation pilot, GRAHAM
Asset Management will install low-carbon heating solutions and improve the
fabric of the Cheshire schools selected, which are run by the North West
Academies Trust. The chosen schools include Acton Church of England
Primary Academy in Nantwich and Calveley Primary Academy in Tarporley.
The sustainability improvements will impact significantly
on energy efficiency, helping the sector achieve its net zero carbon goals.
Gareth Smyth, Operations Director at GRAHAM Asset
Management, commented:
“GRAHAM is delighted to be part of DfE’s journey to net
zero. This pilot programme, awarded under the Fusion 21 Decarbonisation, Heating
and Renewables Framework, provides a valuable opportunity to develop a scalable
solution to accelerate decarbonisation in the future.”
